$1 million lotto ticket sold at Alma gas station

Posted:

ALMA (AP) - Arkansas lottery officials say a $1 million winning Mega Millions ticket was sold at a gas station in Crawford County.

Lottery officials say a ticket sold at the Hilltop Travel Center in Alma won a $1 million prize in Tuesday night's drawing. The ticket matched five white ball numbers, resulting in a $250,000 win. That prize was increased to $1 million because the player added a $1 "Megaplier" option.

The winner has not yet claimed his or her prize at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Claim Center in Little Rock.

Officials say someone in Maryland matched all six numbers in Tuesday's drawing, winning the $26 million jackpot.
