OHP: Woman Dies In McAlester Crash

Posted: Updated:

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers say a woman died in a crash in McAlester.

Sara Basquez, 24, was driving on Fa county road when troopers say she failed to yield from a stop sign crossing southbound traffic on US69.

Another car hit Basquez's car on the driver's side, causing her to be partially ejected.

A 5-year-old was in Basquez's car, but was treated and released from the hospital.

The driver of the other car was also treated and released.

Troopers say Basquez was not wearing a seat belt.
