Faulkner County gas station owner arrested for selling bath salts, K2

FAULKNER COUNTY (KATV) - A three month investigation came to an end Thursday with one business owner being arrested for two stores allegedly selling bath salts and K2.

Several agencies, including the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office, searched the Sinclair Gas Station at 61 South Broadview Street in Greenbrier and the Main Street Mercantile at 8 South Broadway in Damascus. Authorities seized more than $30,000 in cash along with 121 packages of K2, 56 packages of bath salts, 128 assorted pills and a semi automatic handgun.

Both businesses are owned by 26-year-old Amarjit Singh of Damascus. He was arrested and charged with two felony counts of Possession with Purpose to Deliver.

Singh was taken to the Faulkner County Detention Center. At last check, he was free on $15,000 bond.
