Batesville man wins Natural State Jackpot

(KATV) Wesley Tosh purchased a $1 game ticket at the Cushman Country Store in Batesville on Central Avenue Saturday.

He told his wife he won $300 dollars, it wasn't until he tried to cash it as a the Cushman Country Store that he found it he won the jackpot, $155,000.

Tosh plans to buy a new truck, an outboard motor and put the rest of his winnings in savings.  

The Natural State Jackpot (NSJ) is exclusive to Arkansas. Drawings are held Monday through Saturday at 8 p.m. The jackpot prize starts at $25,000 and increases by $5,000 every draw until the jackpot is won. Five numbers are drawn from 1 to 39.

If all your numbers match those that are chosen, you win the jackpot. If other players also match all five numbers, the prize will be shared in equal amounts. Each play is $1.

As of Wednesday, February 6, the current estimated drawing for the Natural State Jackpot is $35,000.

Stay tuned to the beginning of Channel Seven Nightside Wednesday for the Powerball drawing. The Jackpot is estimated at $208 million.
