Tulsa Library Offers Free Music Downloads

Posted: Updated:

How would you like to download  new music absolutely free?

The Tulsa City County Library is offering up a new service online.

You can download three songs a week at no cost.

And guess what, you get to keep them forever.

The library says "the need" was definitely there.

Charlotte Frazier is the library's Director of Support Services.

"We're moving into the 21st century. We know that people are mobile. They like to have iTunes. That kind of music available to them on the go. And this is the way the library's going to meet that need."

The program just started a few weeks ago and it's been really popular.

More than 1,000 people have already downloaded songs from the  library.

To check it out, we've set up a newslink to the right of this story.
