(KATV) Pulaski County - A 22 year old has been arrested accused of taking nude photos and videos of an underage boy with whom he attends church. The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office is investigating the case, because of a tip from the pastor where the suspect and victim attend church.

You are innocent until proven guilty, with that said Gideon Paul Gulledge did turn his cell phone over to deputies with evidence that can be used in an attempt to put him behind bars. But Gulledge told Channel Seven off camera, "It's all a misunderstanding".

This is 22-year old Gideon Paul Gulledge's first mug shot. He was arrested and taken to the Pulaski County jail, but soon released on $5,000 bond.

Lt. Carl Minden with the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office says, "The detectives are probably just now getting started as far as delving into a little bit more."

Gulledge admitted to having the pictures and video on his phone, that he turned over to detectives. It happened after he was read his Miranda Rights, therefore he was formally charged with manufacturing and possessing sexually explicit conduct involving a child.

Lt. Minden adds, "Everything we have charged him with transpired at the address on Lobo Lane, his home address."

Gulledge lives in a mobile home on his family's property. He told Channel Seven he didn't take the pictures. He says the person being called a victim has been a friend for many years; that the 16-year old was a willing participant and nothing was sexual.

"Because the age, whether it's consensual or forced, it's still going to be a crime based on the age," Minden clarifies.

Gideon Gulledge spoke with a Channel Seven crew for about five minutes off camera. He says everything's been taken out of context, it's caused him to be suspended from school and he's hiring an attorney to help clear his name.

Gulledge says nothing inappropriate happened at the church he attends with the 16-year old, but detectives are not ruling it out. They are investigating and looking into the possibility of more charges and more victims.
