The Sooners explode out of the gates against the Baylor Bears Wednesday night and hold on to upset the home team in Waco 74-71.
Amath M'Baye scored his Sooner career best 20-points on 9-12 shooting from the field. He scored OU's first seven points of the game.
Oklahoma dominated the first 35 minutes of the contest and led by as many as 16 points, but Baylor made a furious rally and pulled within one on a couple of occasions.
The Bears were led by Pierre Jackson with 22 points. Four Baylor players scored in double figures.
Senior Steven Pledger added 20 for Oklahoma and Romero Osby had 11.
The Sooners improve to 14-5, 5-2 in Big 12 play. They are currently tied with Baylor in second place in the conference standings.
Up next for Oklahoma is Kansas State. They host the Wildcats Saturday at 5:00pm.
