MONTICELLO (KATV) - Federal storm surveyors plan to be in southeast Arkansas all day.

John Robinson with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) said Wednesday morning they plan to head to Monticello first because they received more damage reports from there than anywhere else. He said there was also strong radar indications that a tornado occurred there, especially in the area east of town.

Winds blew a horse barn adjacent to the rodeo arena at the University of Arkansas at Monticello off its foundation around 9:30 Tuesday night, according to a UAM spokesperson. Jim Brewer said the barn was blown across the rodeo parking area and damaged three livestock trailers.

It housed 11 horses owned by student members of the UAM rodeo team. None of the horses were injured during the storm, according to Coach Rusty Jones.

ABC's Good Morning America reported LIVE from the site of that damage. Click here to watch the video.

We'll update you with NOAA's findings as they become available.
