Open enrollment begins for LRSD & PCSSD

If you're new to the Little Rock or Pulaski County Special School District, you can now sign up for classes for the upcoming school year.

Open enrollment kicked off Monday. Those required to register include pre-k and kindergarten students, anyone coming to the district through the Majority to Minority provision, magnet program choices, and any other new student.

LRSD

January 28 - February 1
8 AM - 5 PM
St. Mark Baptist Church at 5722 W. 12th St.

February 4 - 8
8 AM - 5 PM
Student Registration Office at 501 Sherman Street

PCSSD

January 28 - January 31
9 AM - 2 PM
PCSSD Headquarters at 925 E. Dixon Road

A couple found the sculptures in a black garbage bag inside of the Little Rock Vogel Schwartz Sculpture Garden at Riverfront Park. The Sizzling sisters, First Glance, and Conversation with Myself were all donated to the sculpture garden.More >>

    "Lost Seal" from Civil War era returns to Saline County

    Saline County celebrated the return of its“Lost Seal” by installing a historical civil war marker. The county hasn't had the seal since 1863 but it is now back in the county's possession. In 1996 Gary Smith of Pine Bluff discovered the seal with his metal detector in Grant County.More >>
