CONWAY (KATV) - A 47-year-old father was arrested after police say he left his 13-month-old son home alone so he could go drinking at a bar in Little Rock Friday night.

The child's mother told police that her boyfriend, Joseph Garland Torian, sent her a picture of the child sleeping in his bed in Conway around 9:30 Friday night but that a couple of hours later, she saw that Torian's iPad showed he was in the River Market. She was at work at the time.

When she couldn't contact Torian, the frantic mom called Conway Police and her parents.

Officers found the 13-month-old crying in his crib at their home on Highland Drive. Little Rock police found Torian in a bar and arrested him.

During questioning, Torian admitted to leaving his son alone to go to a bar on another occasion as well when the child was only 7 months old.
