
CONWAY (AP) - LaQuentin Miles scored 12 points, three others had 10 and Central Arkansas controlled this game from the beginning in an 88-59 victory over Lamar on Saturday night.
Central Arkansas (8-10, 3-5 Southland) trailed 2-0 after a made bucket by Amos Wilson but answered with a 14-2 run capped off by a Miles jumper with 15:57 remaining in the first half. Lamar's opening bucket was the only lead the Cardinals would hold the entire game.
The Bears led by as many as 24 in the first half and 36 in the second half.
Robert Crawford, Ryan Williams and Zach Padgett each scored 10 for Central Arkansas, which hit 10 3-pointers and was 14 of 18 from the free-throw line. The Bears scored 34 points off turnovers against Lamar, which had 25 total turnovers.
Brennan Doty had 10 points to lead Lamar (2-18, 0-8) and teammate Donley Minor had nine points, seven rebounds and three assists.
