Posted: Updated:

Little Rock police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead.

It happened around 12:25 p.m. Sunday at 2018 West 18th Street, according to police.

A 15-year-old girl discovered her father bleeding in a bathroom inside the home and told a neighbor, according to LRPD spokesperson Sgt. Cassandra Davis.

It is unclear if the daughter was home at the time of the shooting.

The victim, Joseph McCardell, 38, was pronounced dead on the scene, according to Davis.

Police do suspect foul play and are investigating the shooting as a homicide.

There is no suspect information at the time.
