LITTLE ROCK (KATV) - A former coach at Mount St. Mary pleaded guilty Thursday to first degree sexual assault.
Kelly O'Rourke, 41, was accused of having a relationship with a former student who was 16 years old when the relationship began but is now an adult.
She will spend the next 120 days in jail. O'Rourke would have been sentenced to 15 years in prison, but it was reduced when she agreed not to have contact with the victim. She will also have to register as a sex offender and provide her DNA plus pay $5,000 in court costs.
O'Rourke also agreed to testify against another former Mount St. Mary teacher, Kathy Griffin, who was charged because she didn't report the relationship.
