Broken Arrow Residents Asked to Give Opinions on Downtown

Posted: Updated:

The Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce is asking its citizens what they want to see downtown. It's part of an online survey for the Rose District in Broken Arrow. The Rose District already offers a Mexican restaurant, tavern, lunch options, chocolatier, dress shops, boutiques, a bookstore and many more things.

This survey is designed to see what might be missing in the area. "What they think of downtown Broken Arrow, how often they come here, what attracts them here, and really what we can do to bring them back," says Lisa Frein, Director of Downtown development for the Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Corporation

The Rose District is already bringing in new business. A developer is working with In the Raw to open a location right in the heart of the Rose District.

"We are trying to catch that 5 P.M. and after crowd to stay in Broken Arrow in downtown Broken Arrow and spend a little extra time," says William Leet, Developer Rose District LP.

The survey is available at the Chamber of Commerce web site until January 31. Frein says there is no opinion is too small for this group.

"This is their city. Their downtown and they have this opportunity for their voice to be heard about what they want to hear and see down here," says Frein.

One person will win a $100 Visa gift card for filling out the survey. All the results will be given to the City of Broken Arrow and the Downtown Advisory Board by the end of February.
