A man accused of groping women in Midtown is behind bars Friday.

Tulsa Police said 25-year-old Brandon E. James was arrested Thursday evening when he allegedly tried to attack a woman inside a store near 81st and Yale.

Arrest records show James allegedly walked up to a woman and grabbed her buttocks.

The victim confronted James and called police. He remained there until police arrived and arrested him.

Detectives quickly determined he was the same suspect in similar sexual assaults near 41st and Yale. In one of those cases, an 11-year-old reported a similar attack.

During questioning, and after hearing his Miranda rights, James admitted to the three other assaults near the 41st and Yale area.

James was booked into the Tulsa County jail for 3 complaints of sexual batter and one count of lewd molestation of a minor.
