Three suspects found inside stolen car

BENTON (KATV) - Three suspects were arrested early Wednesday morning when they were found inside a stolen vehicle.

Officers reportedly found William Looney, 29, Chelsea Smith, 21, and Tamara Hamilton, 21, in a stolen vehicle near America's Best Inn on Hot Springs Highway. Looney tried to run away but was caught on the scene and arrested without any more trouble, according to a police report.

All three were charged with theft by receiving. Looney was also charged with escape, driving on a suspended drivers license and fleeing.
