HOT SPRINGS (KATV) -
Oaklawn officials have canceled the remainder of opening weekend racing due to heavy rain.
Saturday's day-long pour caused several places in the track to wash out. Crews will take Sunday and early next week to make repairs.
Live racing returns on Thursday with a 1:30 post time, which will kick off a special five-day race week ending in next Monday's Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday card.
