Tulsa's police chief and department information officers send a clear message on how the Fairmont Terrace investigation is going so far.

In a statement Friday afternoon, Tulsa police spokespersons Jill Roberson and Leland Ashley stressed that no arrests have been made in connection with the homicides.

"The homicide unit is following up on leads and conducting interviews in relation with the murders that took place," the release states.

Channel 8 has been closely following the process, but police chief Chuck Jordan said no information will be released that could jeopardize their investigation.

He explained that telling too much about the effort could put lives at stake.

Tonight at 5:00 and 6:00pm, Channel 8's Yvonne Lewis has more on how family members are coping with the loss of a loved one. Hear how the neighborhood is trying to come together and stop the violence.

Stay with Tulsa's Channel 8 and KTUL.com for the most up-to-date coverage of this story.
