BENTON (KATV) - Police are looking for the man who reportedly robbed a Benton gas station at gunpoint Thursday afternoon.

A arrest warrant was issued Friday for 20-year-old Daniel Glenn Caple. Authorities say he walked into the Shell Superstop at 16824 Interstate 30 around 2:00 Thursday afternoon, showed a pistol, jumped over the counter and fired one shot into the floor. He then ran out with an undisclosed amount of money and merchandise.

The entire incident was caught on surveillance video. The suspect in the video was described as a slender white man in a black jacket and jeans with a dark colored, half-open face style toboggan. There were two more people waiting for him outside in a late 90's model Chevrolet Malibu who helped him get away but never went into the gas station.

When caught, Caple will be charged with two counts each of aggravated robbery, theft of property, aggravated assault and terroristic threatening.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at (501) 778-1171 or 315-TIPS. You can also send an anonymous text to CRIMES (274-637) with the keyword BNPD in the body of the message.
