"American Pickers" comes to Arkansas to search for treasure

Posted: Updated:

Your trash could be the History Channel's treasure.

Mike and Frank from "American Pickers" are on their way to hunt for antiques and collectables in Arkansas according to their Facebook page.

On Monday the show posted:

"Hey, Arkansas! Mike and Frank are heading down to the Natural State, so send us your tips for the biggest piles of rusty gold in your neck of the woods -- from the Ozarks to the Mississippi and everything in between! If you or anyone you know has buildings chock full of treasure, send us a email at americanpickers@cineflix.com, or give us a call at 646.493.2184 and tell us all about it. Please note: No retail shops or flea markets."

The reality TV show showcases the two men as they travel around the United States. Mike and Frank explore barns, homes, sheds and other buildings where casual collectors and hoarders have stashed away junk that could turn out to be treasure.

"American Pickers" airs on the History Channel Mondays at 8 PM.
