Police waste no time in arresting a suspect accused of stabbing and killing a man.

Robert Alexander Hill was picked up Tuesday evening near 51st and Memorial.

Investigators believe Hill fatally stabbed a 28-year-old man near 11th and Harvard earlier in the night.

The victim died at St. John Hospital from his injuries.

Hill is being held in the Tulsa County Jail without bond. This is the 8th homicide in Tulsa so far in 2013.

A check of state court records shows Hill has a lengthy criminal past including numerous convictions for robbery and escape from a Commanche County jail in 1996.
