Tulsa, Oklahoma -
Police are continuing to investigate after four women were found dead in a south Tulsa apartment complex on Monday afternoon.
UPDATE: Police Release Names of 4 Women Killed in South Tulsa Apartment
"It's very tough right now," said Leland Ashley with the Tulsa Police Department. "It's very tragic or one life to be lost, but to have four lives lost in one day at the same scene, it's very gut wrenching."
The women were found dead in the Fairmont Terrace Apartment Complex, near East 61st Street and Peoria Avenue.
A four-year-old boy was found alive in the apartment and has been placed in protective custody.

Brandy Hernandez was friends with the victims and said the news of the child possibly witnessing the crime hits too close to home as she thinks of her own son.
"A lot of hurt, a lot of anger," Hernandez said. "One of the girls had talked to my boyfriend last night, she said she got robbed like two weeks ago and she said she was gonna get robbed again."
City Councilor Jeannie Cue said the area near 61st and Peoria is a focus area for the city's gang task force.
"I really feel with the gang task force that is centered here for this area that they're going to find whoever did this in a short amount of time," she said.
Police are asking anyone with information about the homicides to call Crime Stoppers at (918) 596-Cops.
"We're just asking anyone with any, any information, I don't care how small it is, we're asking you to come forward," Ashley said.
