
University of Oklahoma offense lineman Austin Woods is one of seven finalist for the 2013 Rare Disease Champion Award. He has a pretty inspirational story.
In the spring he was diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He continued to practice and play while undergoing chemotherapy. He saw action in everyone of OU's 12-games this season.
On November 1st he was told his cancer was in remission.
You still have time to vote for Austin and help him win this award. Voting goes through January 31st. A winner will be announce February 1st.
