Carjacking in East Tulsa Leaves One Shot

Police are searching for suspect(s) after a carjacking that led to a shooting near the Tulsa-Catoosa City Line, early Monday Morning.

Tulsa Police Corporal Jeff Edwards tells KTUL.com, the victim showed up at a QuikTrip near 193rd East Avenue and I-44 around 12:30am.

Edwards says it appears the victim had been "struck over the head" and then shot. The victim told police, the suspect(s) then took of with the his vehicle.

Police, at this point, do not have a suspect description and are somewhat unclear as to the exact location of the carjacking.

The victim was transported by EMSA to an area hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.
