TULL (KATV) - A Grant County family with a desperately sick infant was suffering because someone stole the generator they use to ensure their son's dialysis machine can run.
Dexter McDade was born with a rare kidney disorder. The 6-month-old already had both of his kidney's removed and is currently in chemotherapy and on dialysis.
A thief took their generator Wednesday, which Dexter's mom said could be a life threatening situation if the family lost their electricity.
Since KATV originally ran this story, multiple people offered to give the family generators and the McDade's do have a generator back in their home.
