Prescott man struck, killed by oncoming train

PRESCOTT, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas State Police say a Prescott man is dead after he was struck by a train.

State police say the fatal collision happened late Saturday on a county road west of Prescott. According to a preliminary report, 47-year-old Jimmie Guyton Jr. failed to yield at a railroad crossing and his vehicle was struck on the rear drivers' side by an oncoming Amtrak train.

State police say Guyton was pronounced dead at the scene.
