Lonoke Co man charged with raping a minor

WARD -

A Ward man has been arrested and charged with raping a child. Juan Jose Martinez, 37, is being held without bond.

The Lonoke County Sheriff's office says they were contacted just before 6 p.m. Monday evening and told that an 11-year-old girl had been sexually assaulted.

Investigators searched a home on Black Oak Circle in Ward and later arrested Martinez.
