UPDATE: CAT busses back up and running

Posted: Updated:

THURSDAY 11:15 UPDATE: All CAT bus routes are back up and running.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(KATV) - If you rely on mass transit to make your way around the city, you may be back in luck tomorrow – problem is, nobody knows when.

We got a call from Central Arkansas Transit this afternoon, and they say they will have the buses rolling on the city streets again sometime tomorrow – but again, the key word is "sometime".

Like everyone else, CAT will have to wait until it's safe for their drivers and passengers to be on the icy roads.  And regardless of the weather, NONE of the Express buses will be running on Thursday.

It's been at least two years since CAT had to suspend service on any of its routes.
