Watershed receives large toy donation

Posted: Updated:
LITTLE ROCK (KATV) -

Watershed received a large donation Tuesday. Central Arkansas Honda Dealers dropped off several carloads of toys at Watershed Human & Community on Springer Boulevard.

General manager Jarrod Russell of Russell Honda says he was happy to be a part of the group helping out. "Just to give back to the community, (and) show that we appreciate them supporting us," Russell said. "We are just trying to give back and support the community as well.

Reverend Hezekiah Stewart was grateful. "The Honda dealers of Arkansas rolled up in here with brand new automobiles and in the back of those automobiles were toys, toys, toys."

Stewart says still, the need is great. The Watershed could always use more clothing, food donations, and toys for children of all ages.
