LITTLE ROCK (KATV) - A house fire in the 11200 block of Shenandoah Valley Drive Tuesday afternoon caused $175,000 in damage but no one was hurt, according to investigators.
A preliminary assessment shows the fire started in the kitchen when the home owner left to pick up her kids. Hazmat was called to the scene, but officials tell Channel 7 News that was only to replenish firefighters' air supply.
Brigette Williams with the Red Cross said the family was able to make other living arrangements without their help.
