Bielema names recruiting coordinator, ops director - KATV - Breaking News, Weather and Razorback Sports

FAYETTEVILLE (AP) - Arkansas coach Bret Bielema has named a director of on-campus recruiting and a director of football operations.

The new Razorbacks coach rounded out his staff Monday by naming Chris Hauser to the recruiting position and Mark Taurisani to direct Arkansas' football operations.

Hauser and Taurisani each held their respective positions on Bielema's staff at Wisconsin.

Hauser will be in charge of organizing the recruiting process for the football team, including evaluating eligibility of new student athletes.

Taurisani will be responsible for logistics that include organizing fall camp, team game weekend arrangements and other activities, including assisting with high school camps.

Bielema was hired earlier this month to replace John L. Smith, who coached the team last season after Bobby Petrino was fired.
