An argument in Bryant ended with a man stabbed to death.

Itzamanna Jiminez-Jasso, 34, and Ismael Tagle-Carreon, 35, started fighting Sunday night. A police report says Carreon hit Jasso in the face. The fight continued to escalate according to witnesses and ended with Jasso stabbing Carreon in the chest and torso.

When officers arrived at 110 Southeast 3rd Street they found Carreon on the floor stabbed several times. A red handled pocket knife was near him.

He was bleeding severely when officers arrived and was unresponsive.  After trying to revive him, the Saline County Coroner pronounced him dead.

Jasso is now charged with second degree murder and is being held at the Saline County Detention Center. He will be in court Wednesday for a bond hearing.
