Posted: Updated:

Well, it's Monday. A cold Monday for that matter. But before you get into your weekly routine of work, responsibilities and more work, how about looking at a list of things occurring in the Tulsa area Monday?

As always, follow KTUL.com for full-length coverage on larger stories occurring in the area, state and nation. The following events are just some of those happening Monday with updates posted throughout the morning as we send out crews and reporters to stories we're working on for our evening newscasts.

Christmas Lights: Head on over to Broken Arrow for their annual Rhema lights display. Visitors can see the displays at Rhema Baptist Church with two million lights and over 100,000 shimmering bulbs synchronized to Christmas music.

Muskogee: If Broken Arrow isn't your thing, then head to Muskogee's Garden of Lights showcase at Honor Heights Park. With more than 1,000,000 shimmering lights and 120 acres of trees, bushes and water areas decorated, you're bound to be in the Christmas season by the end of it.

BOK Center: The weather is right for you and your family to head out to Winterfest. Bundle up and buy some hot chocolate before you head out to the ice rink. There are also plenty of other free events and sights to see Downtown.

For the Art Lovers: Head on over to Chapman Music Hall at the Performing Arts Center for Phill Cooper's newest showcase. Visitors can see his oil paintings of ordinary objects becoming extraordinary through the month of December from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

For the Music Lovers: Head on over to Brady Theater tonight for a performance by Bryan Adams beginning at 7 p.m. Philbrook members can also attend a sit down interview with the artist on his career in music and photography. That begins at 2 p.m.

At the Library: Parents can take their children to the Schusterman-Benson Library where they can read books to therapy dogs. The event begins at 3:30 p.m. and children will receive a free book afterwards.

More Books: If reading to dogs isn't enough, then head on over to Hardest Regional Library where children will get a visit and story time from Santa. The event begins at 6:30 p.m.
