The Bloomington Blaze were firing on all cylinders against the Tulsa Oilers, and when the final buzzer sounded Blaze emerged with an 8-3 win.
Travis Granbois was all over the ice for Bloomington, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. Granbois scored 2:49 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Bloomington. Kyle Bochek picked up the assist.
The Blaze found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. Bloomington has scored at the pace of 4.0 goals per game during the current campaign. The defensemen of the Blaze were also effective in Tulsa's zone, and came away with three goals. With 42 shots on target during the contest, Bloomington exceeded the 31.1 shots it averages per game this year.
