Winterfest is open again in downtown Tulsa. Winterfest is open again in downtown Tulsa.

This weekend, Downtown Tulsa is working to put you in the holiday spirit with several events in the area.

Winterfest is continuing its longest run yet.

"We are open 45 straight days including Christmas, New Years Eve, and everything. So, we're really excited to be open that long," said Brian Smith with the BOK Center.

There will be a holiday market inside the BOK Center Saturday. There will be free ice skating for all Sunday to celebrate the event's fifth anniversary. Also, there will be fireworks Saturday night after the Holiday Parade of Lights passes through.

An organizer for that parade told Channel 8, there will be a Hanukkah float for the first time ever. It begins Saturday at 6 p.m at 4th and Elgin. Channel 8 anchors and reporters will be in the parade.

The Nutcracker Ballet opens with a 2 p.m. matinee Saturday. As of Friday afternoon, there are still tickets available.

Also, pop-up shops in the Deco District are open again this year. Channel 8 spoke with Jennifer Grant at The Gallery on 6th Downtown. She said the pop-up shops offer unique, local products that work for "the-hard-to-buy-for-person."
