Maritime Museum Honors Pearl Harbor Day

Posted: Updated:

In honor of Pearl Harbor and those who lost their lives on December 7, 1941, the Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum will host FREE tours to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, December 7.

In addition, the Museum will provide FREE hot dogs starting at noon until supplies last, as well as handing out small American flags to commemorate the day.

This celebration comes on the heels of the remembrance ceremony the Museum hosted where they honored the five Sullivan brothers who died on the USS Juneau in World War II. "It's our way of honoring those who gave so much," said Greg Zonner, Executive Director of the Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum. "Keeping their memory alive by telling their stories and preserving history" said Zonner.
