A Silver Alert was canceled Thursday afternoon for an 87-year-old man out of Rogers County.

Alvin John Lyles was found just before noon after a good Samaritan found him driving on Highway 66 through Kellyville.

Rogers County Sheriffs Department told KTUL.com that the Samaritan recognized the description of the vehicle and began to follow him until Oklahoma Highway Patrol arrived to provide assistance.

Lyles was taken to the Bristow Police Department following the recovery.

Channel 8 was there as Lyles was reunited with his family. Look for more on this story tonight on Tulsa's Channel 8 News this evening.
