Little Rock man with mental illness missing, without medication

Posted: Updated:

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) - A Little Rock man suffering from mental illness is missing and considered dangerous.

Ofc. Michelle Howard with LRPD said in a phone interview 20-year-old Frederick Bragg, Jr. was released from the Pulaski County Jail into the custody of a Department of Human Services (DHS) care giver earlier today. He wandered off from that care giver around 11:30 near Capital and Broadway downtown.

He is described as 5'6" weighing 160 pounds, last seen wearing a red and gray jacket with blue jeans and tennis shoes.

Bragg does not have his medication with him and has a history of violence when not taking his medication. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is encouraged not to approach him, but to call police immediately.

NOTE: While Bragg was just released from jail, police are not looking to arrest him. They only want help finding him so he can receive the medical treatment he needs.
