Early morning house fire in Pine Bluff

PINE BLUFF (KATV) - Police are investigating an early morning house fire.

Volunteer firefighters responded to 8820 Highway 54 around 5:30 Monday morning. The home was fully engulfed and is considered a total loss. One person was slightly burned and taken to the hospital.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation but authorities believe a gas explosion may be to blame.
