UPDATE: Silver Alert canceled, Larry Smith found

UPDATE: Little Rock Police announced at 4:15 Friday afternoon that Mr. Smith had been found.

Sgt. Cassandra Davis with LRPD told Channel 7 News he was found safely by his brother two blocks from his home.

Police and family are looking for a Little Rock man who hasn't been seen since Thursday afternoon.

Larry James Smith, 60, was last known to be at 4625 West 16th Street at 4:30 p.m.

Smith suffers from dementia and has walked away before. Little Rock Police report sometimes Smith doesn't remember his name.

He stands at 6'01" and weighs 175 pound. Smith was last seen wearing a white baseball cap, black hoodie and blue jeans.

    Saline County celebrated the return of its“Lost Seal” by installing a historical civil war marker. The county hasn't had the seal since 1863 but it is now back in the county's possession. In 1996 Gary Smith of Pine Bluff discovered the seal with his metal detector in Grant County.More >>
