Tulsa Ford Dealership Begins Seventh Annual Toy Drive for Children
A local car dealership is encouraging its customers and residents of Tulsa to get into the spirit of giving by donating toys to children in need.
Bob Hurley Ford is hosting their seventh annual Toy Drive for the Reed Park Community Center. The dealership will begin collecting toys for donation at their location on West 51st Street.
According to their release, the toy drive is hoping to collect gifts for infants all the way to 13-year-olds. While any toys are appreciated, organizers do ask that only family friendly games and toys are donated.
Over at the Reed Park Community Center, Project Reach of Tulsa will partner with the center to help gift children with winter clothes and garments. Children also will have the opportunity to attend a Christmas party that has been hosted since the 1960s.
Toy drive organizers are hoping for at least 1000 new small and medium sized toys. They also are asking that the gifts be donated unwrapped.
For more information on the toy drive, contact Eleasha Broderick, Ryan Hurley or Vince Hennigan at 918-445-2700.
