Armed robbery at Benton gas station

BENTON (KATV) - Police are looking for an armed robbery suspect who struck the Phillips 66 on I-30 just after 1:30 Thursday afternoon.

The suspect is described as a heavyset black man between 5'9" and 6'00" tall. He was last seen wearing a black hat with white lettering, a black shirt with white lettering and blue jeans. He was carrying a pistol.

He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash from the gas station. The clerk was not hurt during the robbery.
