A Tulsa gas station was the scene of a robbery early Wednesday morning where a man left with more than $400 in cash.
Tulsa Police said the incident occurred at the Phillips 66 station near 31st and Yale. Just after 3:30 a.m. a white male dressed in camo gear entered the business armed with a silver handgun and demanded cash.
Officers said he was able to get away with approximately $498 in cash. After he received the money, the clerk told police that the man apologized and told him it was for his family.
He was seen entered a beat up pickup truck and also was wearing a black hoodie and gloves.
