BENTONVILLE (KATV) - Zachary Holly, 28, has been arrested in connection with the murder of 6-year old Jersey Bridgeman of Bentonville. He is being held for capital murder, kidnapping and residential burglary.

Bentonville Police say the girl died between midnight and 6:45 a.m. Tuesday, November 20. Her family reported her missing that morning and she was found a short time later.

Officers say the suspect is an acquaintance of the victim's family and he lived next door. Jersey's body was found in the vacant home next to his, two doors down from her home.

Police have not released details of how Jersey died. The FBI has been helping with the investigation.

Police don't expect to make more arrest.

Zachary Holly will have a bond hearing Wednesday morning. Stay with Channel Seven for the latest on this case.

Jersey's short life wasn't always easy. Her father, David Bridgeman is serving 18 years in prison and her stepmother Jana Bridgeman is serving 12 years for chaining her to a dresser last year. Court records show David Bridgeman told an investigator he chained her to the dresser with a belt. He explained that he did it because she got into medication and other items in the house. They both pleaded guilty in June 2011 to false imprisonment, permitting abuse of a minor and endangering the welfare of a minor.
