BAY (KATV) - Police tell KATV a missing 50-year-old woman was actually found a day before State Police issued a Silver Alert for her.

Terry Lynn Smallman was last seen at 4:00 Saturday afternoon at 105 Alexander Road, which is near the Bay Fire Station. She was then found and safely returned home Sunday morning.

Bay Police Department Assistant Chief Tommy Cole told our ABC station in Jonesboro, KAIT, he wasn't sure why Arkansas State Police issued the Silver Alert a day after Smallman was found.
