
CONWAY (AP) - Mikh McKinney scored 14 points and Sacramento State rallied from a 13-point second-half deficit to defeat Central Arkansas 71-68 Saturday night.
Central Arkansas (1-3) led 45-35 at halftime and increased the lead to 55-42 on a tip-in by Jordan Harks with 15:56 remaining. But Sacramento State (4-1) outscored the Bears 21-5 over the next 10 minutes to take its first lead of the game on a 3-point play by McKinney with 5:15 left.
McKinney added two free throws with 17 seconds left that gave the Hornets their final 3-point margin as Central Arkansas misfired three times from 3-point range in the final 12 seconds.
Joe Eberhard added 13 points, 10 rebounds and four steals for Sacramento State.
The Bears got 21 points from Jarvis Garner, a career-high 18 from Harks and 10 from LaQuentin Miles.
