Christopher S. Reynolds, 34, of Ward was arrested Saturday afternoon on the authority of Lonoke County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Ashley Parker. The arrest was made by Special Agents of the Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division.
Reynolds is charged with one count of first degree murder and two counts of aggravated assault.
The charges stem from the death of Ernest Hoskins Jr., 21, of North Little Rock.
Reynolds was Hoskins employer and the shooting happened during a business meeting held at Reynolds' home.
According to the police report, Reynolds pointed the gun at Hoskins and while attempting to de-cock the pistol, fired a round which fatally wounded Hoskins.
State Police Special Agents responded to a call from Prosecuting Attorney Chuck Graham on Friday, November 9, 2012 to assist in the investigation of a death which had occurred at Deer Run in Ward.
Reynolds has been incarcerated at the Lonoke County Jail.
