Downtown Tulsa -

The Arvest Winterfest kicked off the season in downtown Tulsa Friday.

The celebration is right outside the BOK Center on Third Street, Between Denver & Frisco Avenues.

The holiday tradition is celebrating five years in Tulsa.

Families can skate beneath the skyline and watch live entertainment on the outdoor stage.

Skating for adults is $8 including skate rental or $5 if you bring your own.  Children three and under are $5.

Winterfest is here to stay until January 6th.

Tulsa's Channel 8 is a proud sponsor of the event.
