Man Killed After Crashing Dirt Bike into Game Warden's Vehicle

Posted: Updated:

A man was killed early Thanksgiving morning after crashing his dirt bike head on into a game warden's vehicle.

The highway patrol tells us the warden, Benjamin Haff, 30, was patrolling in Wagoner County using night vision capabilities, which required the vehicle's headlights to be turned off.

Alan Hogue, 38, was riding a dirt bike on the same road, also reportedly without lights on. Hogue was driving on the wrong side of the road when Haff struck the man head on.

Hogue was transported to Wagoner City Hospital, but died due to injuries.

According to the highway patrol report, Hogue had an odor of alcohol.
