Body found by cousins in Pulaski County woods identified as missing man

Posted: Updated:

The human remains found by two cousins while playing in the woods are that of a missing elderly man.

The State Crime Lab has identified the body as 70-year-old Charlie Hardin. Hardin was listed as missing by the Little Rock Police Department in mid-October.

Hardin's body was discovered on November 8 when an 18-year-old and his 13-year-old cousin were chasing each other down the 1500 block of Woodyard Road when they ran into the woods.  The cousins saw the remains next to a tree about 50 feet north of the road.
